This Peerless Model RR can be found at the Rough and Tumble Steam Show in Kinzers, PA. It was stamped serial number 9172 and was produced in 1903. Norman Gay keeps this engine running like a top!

This Peerless can be found at the Chippokes Steam Show. It was stamped serial number 17718 and was produced in 1915. Dallas Bunch keeps this engine in pristine running order.

OK OK! We know this isn't steam power here! What this is, though is our newest project here at Shelor Steam. It is a "Shelor Crawler" that was built in 1945 by O.W. Shelor in Salem, VA. It was massed produced in the late 1940's until it was finally replaced by the tiller. This one was restored in the Winter of '96. The restoration was done by Warren Shelor. Wouldn't this make a few wonderful pages for the Shelor Steam/Crawler Site?
